After weeks of searching, it turns out the Sleeper Simulant wasn’t all that hard to get, after all. It wasn’t some impossible decipher code or secret room that began the quest for the exotic fusion rifle, but Bungie itself, which handed us “The First Firewall” quest yesterday, bringing momentum to what had been one of Destiny’s biggest mysteries since The Taken King. The quest appeared to dead-end after a few Warsats yesterday, with most players assuming they’d have to wait for another armsday. As it turns out, they only had to wait a day. Today, the gunsmith gave out a quest called “The Sleeper Stirs,” requiring players to get through the Fallen S.A.B.R.E. strike at 280 light. The reward was, at long last, the Sleeper Simulant.
