After Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson crashed weddings, they crashed Google. In the 2013 comedy film, The Internship, the two starred as old-school salesmen who set their sights on reinventing their skills and career tracks by getting jobs at Google. Trouble is, they had to work together with co-applicants to earn the opportunity – Millennials who knew data technology inside and out. A recipe for disaster? Hardly. In the end, they learned to appreciate the Millennials’ quick-thinking analytical skills and wound up refreshing their own skill sets (which the Millennials found equally valuable). To the victors go the spoils: Everyone was hired.
