It’s becoming more and more standard practice for AAA $60 games to try and squeeze a little more cash out of their customers by inserting optional microtransactions into the their games. While not usually as obtrusive as their counterparts in free-to-play games, which often make them a core part of gameplay, the practice is still generally seen as irksome all the same.
