So much that’s been written about big data analytics – including many of my own posts – have to do with the value it can ultimately bring to your business. Whether it’s pitch perfect product recommendations for web customers, seamless ticketing and route scheduling for a major airline, a driverless car or any number of innovations and uses, big data’s value and applications are seemingly limitless. It’s worth remembering, however, that none of this can happen if – within our own companies – we don’t apply some basic logic to how we implement big data architectures in the first place.
