The video game industry is white hot. The global market for video games is expected to swell from $67 billion in 2012 to $82 billion in 2017, according to a DFC Intelligence video game forecast report cited in Forbes. However, most video game companies appear unprepared to generate revenue from this onslaught of new customers.
