For some PC users, stock performance is never good enough. On the consumer side, that isn’t necessarily a problem, because overclocking is usually as simple as tuning a few options in a BIOS or dragging a couple of sliders within Windows—even without exotic cooling. In the professional workstation market, however, overclocking isn’t nearly as common.
