Facebook’s VP Of Ads: Consumer To Business Messaging Is ‘Tremendous’ Opportunity

In March, Facebook made it possible for the first time for its 1.5 billion users to communicate with select businesses through its messaging service, Messenger. Now, it’s thinking about cashing in big time on that still newish capability.

Consumer to business messaging is still in its infancy on the social network, but Facebook’s vice president of advertising Andrew Bosworth said Tuesday that he sees the feature as an incredibly important monetization opportunity.
