Humans are strange creatures; it’s not enough for us that a product is good, instead we want to see improvements and new model numbers year after year. Perhaps you can blame Apple and the cell phone industry for these very short product cycles but they do present a challenge for manufacturers of electronic devices where the technology is more mature and doesn’t evolve quite as rapidly as, say, cell phones.
