I’m at Dreamforce this week, the 150,000 person conference for Salesforce which is being held in San Francisco. Being surrounded by so many people I couldn’t help but think about the importance of networking and why this will always be crucial for how business gets done. Nothing can ever replace the opportunity to sit down with someone, have a cup of coffee and connect on a personal level. This type of personal communication fosters the ability to make connections which are the glue that makes strong teams in the workplace. Technology can help support and augment this, but not replace it! In this latest episode of the #futurein5 I talk about why this in person experience will never go away. Technology is great, but people are better!
