Perhaps the most interesting device included in today’s announcement is the 7-inch Fire tablet. While it’s not the most highly-specced device, it is a tablet that costs just $50 and comes from a reputable retailer. Heck, Amazon is even selling the Fire in a six-pack that has you pay for five tablets and then get one free with the code FIRE6PACK. At just $50 apiece, the Fire tablet could be a big holiday gift or just a nice option for folks that want a tablet but don’t have a ton of cash to spend on one.
