The U.S. military is trying very hard to expand and incorporate alternative energy sources into its ranks. But sometimes things don’t work out right. Ground was broken on the large Desert Winds wind farm in North Carolina that Amazon’s Jeff Bezos rescued from insolvency. Too bad it’s too close to a super sophisticated Over The Horizon Radar (ROTHR) facility across the border in Virginia at Hampton Roads Naval base.
