Anyone looking at Apple’s event on September 9th will have seen the near-future of smartphones being defined by Tim Cook. Apple may not be winning the market share battle against its Android powered competitors, but the presentation of the technology and the decisions behind their adoption in Apple’s latest hardware will be echoed throughout the market, and force every Android manufacturer to go on defense.
