We’re almost into the meat of the holiday release season, and Microsoft has something to look forward to. While Sony and the PS4 are looking at a bit of a trim season as far as exclusive releases go, the Xbox One is bringing an impressive lineup in the coming months, headlined by Rise of The Tomb Raider and Halo 5: Guardians, but also bolstered by Rare Replay, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Forza 6. In an interview with Games Radar, Microsoft’s always vocal Kudo Tsunoda says that the competition — Sony’s PS4 or Nintendo’s Wii — just can’t compete, at least where the next few months are concerned:
You can see that what we’re focused on is just delivering high value for our gaming fans – and I think a big part of that is just listening to fan feedback, which we’ll always continue to do. I think it’s amazing, and this is just a job that you can see us doing in things evolving here at E3; the amount of big, blockbuster, exclusive titles that you can get this holiday on Xbox is just stunning. I mean, it’s really amazing – I think if you look at our competition there’s no way that people can really stack up with our exclusive content, and that’s an amazing part of what we’re doing at Xbox.
(As a side note, I always find it funny the way executives on either side always say “the competition.” We know who you’re talking about, man)
