It’s a cliché to suggest that startups don’t know what they don’t know. Sometimes that can be a huge asset—many of the greatest tech companies were founded and built by entrepreneurs who didn’t know they were breaking every rule in the book, and honestly didn’t care. It’s the driving force behind entrepreneurship. It drives disruption. It helps create entirely new industries.
