My ears are blanketed, as I write this. I am completely tranquil. There are probably cars whizzing by on the street outside my window, kids screaming at the daycare facility across the street, and yelps coming from dogs around the neighborhood. I can only hear it all faintly. That’s because I’m wearing the Phiaton Chord MS 530 noise-canceling headphones.
