Unsurprisingly, Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 5 took the top sales spot in the UK this week, easily besting the hopelessly outmatched Mad Max. It sold well, if not quite as well as The Witcher 3 or Batman: Arkham Knight did in their first weeks. Most interesting to me, however, is how the console sales break down. According to GFK Chart track,  72 percent of gamers bought Metal Gear Solid 5 on the PS4 as compared to 22 percent on the Xbox One — an impressive gap no matter how you swing it.
