“The stock industry is about $6 billion dollars if you count photos, videos, and everything. That’s obviously not a small number, but if you think of the usage of visual content and how little payment there is, this industry should be a $500 billion industry,” said Christian Toksvig, CEO of start-up StockUnlimited. And says Toksvig, “It’s that gap that I’m interested in and to do that I have to cater to the pirates” of images and graphics.
