Administrators at my kid’s school are big on competition. They once shut the place down so everybody could go to a championship game. (The heck with education, there’s a big game on!) They watch the high school rankings. When the school ranks well, we all hear about it. When the school isn’t ranked at all, that’s not taken lightly.
