Today marks a fairly significant development in the gaming industry, as Google officially enters the fray of live game streaming. YouTube Gaming, as it’s simply called, launches today, and it’s meant to be Twitch’s most serious competitor to date, and a bit of revenge after Google missed out on snapping up Twitch, which was instead sold to Amazon for a billion dollars last year.
