Netflix Saves Users From Watching 130 Hours Of Commercials Per Year

While the cable industry has not completely withered and died with the advent of streaming services like Netflix just yet, it has fundamentally changed the way many users watch TV. Namely, they watch without ads. Streaming-focused site Extreamist did some relatively simple math to show just how many commercials Netflix cuts out of its shows, and what that adds up to over the course of a full year’s subscription.
