Last year, Twitch chat garnered attention for something besides being a stream of consciousness feed of idiocy and memes. Users banded together to use chat to beat the original Pokemon, inputting commands in a lengthy stream, crawling their way through the game one painful step at a time. It took them 16 days, but in the end, they were victorious.
