You could hardly be blamed: a steady stream of conventions has yielded no shortage of bombastic trailers, and most of the major media companies are slowly turning up their media budgets in an effort to drive the general videogaming public into a cash-surrendering frenzy for the holiday season. If you’re still sitting on an Xbox 360 or a PS3, you might be realizing that you’ll be missing out on all of the biggest games of the season if you don’t upgrade to an Xbox One or a PS4 soon, and you might be considering picking one up in preparation. Here’s my advice to you: don’t. Whether you want to go with an Xbox One or a PS4, you’re better off waiting a few weeks until the games start rolling out and the deals start rolling in. It won’t be long.
