Real time sports video clips are coming to social sharing sites like Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat. Its an opportunity for broadcasters and rights holders to distribute their content in a new way and promote their brand, leveraging functions such as “likes” and “shares” to reach a new and wider audience. 2 year old start-up Grabyo, backed by star footballers like Thierry Hennry and Tony Parker, has raised $2m to build a platform from which rights holders can curate and distribute content across social media in partnership with advertisers, sponsors and social media campaigns
