A Song of Ice and Fire author and Game of Thrones overlord George R.R. Martin rarely speaks about the ending of his series, so when he does, fans sit up and take notice. Without getting into specifics, in a recent interview, Martin spoke at length about at least the type of ending he’s shooting for in the series, and where he’s drawing his inspiration with two books left to go.
