There’s a quotable scene in sci-fi blockbuster The Matrix where sunglasses-clad Morpheus offers Keanu Reeves’ character Neo a choice: take a blue pill or a red pill, and face one of two radically different consequences. While not the same as Neo’s choice between truth and ignorance, an MIT team has developed capsules that may allow chemists to take control over tedium and waste.
