On August 10, CEO Larry Page announced a restructuring of Google’s stock — its core search advertising business will be called Google and the rest of it — Google Ventures, Google Capital, Google X,  Life Sciences (that works on the glucose-sensing contact lens), and Calico (focused on longevity), and others will become distinct business units with their own leaders.
