The PC is dead — we must now embrace the so-called ‘endpoint device’ instead. The ubiquity of connection to mobile, cloud and all forms of computing virtualization are of course responsible for this change. While yes obviously PCs and laptops are still around (we need them to act as our endpoints), the true depth, breadth and operational scope of the cloud is still something that not everybody understands.
