Computer processor manufacturer Intel has today launched a new mainstream platform and CPUs based on its Skylake architecture. The platform replaces the current Haswell and Devil’s Canyon-based CPUs that use the LGA1150 socket as well as chipsets such as Z97, with new motherboards from the likes of Asus already on etailer’s shelves.
