Konami has been no one’s favorite publisher in the wake of its very public split with Hideo Kojima, which ended up cancelling Silent Hills and at one point, had his name removed from the box art of Metal Gear Solid V. The controversy painted a picture of an unstable and even vindictive company, and now a new report from Japan’s Nikkei dives headfirst into a corporate culture that seems almost too soul-crushing to be believed.
