Pinterest has hired Susan Kare, an early Apple employee behind designs such as the original Macintosh “lasso” and “paint bucket,” to join the bookmarking site’s creative team as a product design lead.

Kare will report to Pinterest’s head of product design, Bob Baxley, who is also a former Apple employee, the San Francisco, Calif. based company told FORBES on Friday.
