Fire, earthquake, tsunami, and flood – all have featured in recent years as lead stories around the topic of supply chain risk.  Less dramatic news events, but equally serious threats from an individual company’s supply chain perspective occur constantly.  Across all industries supply chain risk has steadily risen on the agenda as its scope has widened to include everything from food safety to terrorism.
