When I was a little kid, the first Christmas gift I ever asked for specifically was ‘the red box with the car in it’. Obviously my parents had no idea what it was from that description. Fortunately, they figured it out. It was an early version of a force feedback wheel. That gift was a small car-shaped body with a key, a steering wheel, and a shifter. You turned it on, used the shifter to increase speed, and turned the wheel to make a small car drive along a looping track. Hours and hours of fun. Today’s technology might be considered similar, but has advanced by leaps and bounds since then.
