Gamestop Adds A Much-Needed Feature To Sony’s PS4

Sony hasn’t given us any information about when we’ll be getting a 1 TB PS4 in North America, but some people aren’t waiting. The PS4 supports customized hard drives in addition to the 500 gb one that comes with the system, and Gamestop is taking advantage of that fact as part of their “premium refurbished program.” They’re selling what they call a “supercharged” PS4 for $479.99 that comes with 2 TB of storage: 4 times what you get from a new system. It’s nothing you couldn’t do on your own, but a lot of people get jittery about poking around inside their expensive electronics, and this is a pretty straightforward alternative.
