Here’s what we do know: Nintendo is planning on changing things up, and soon. The legendary game developer has been pretty tight-lipped about its new “NX” console along with its “Quality of Life” initiative, promising only to tell us more about them in 2016. A new patent filing unearthed by a NeoGaf user, however, gives us an early glimpse at just what the company is planning. I’d say it was out of left field, but Nintendo basically just lives out there, hurling balls for us to catch whenever we’re up to it. From what I can tell, it appears to be a device that turns sleep into something like a video game. Here’s the abstract (the only part of the patent application in English):
