The Neurological Side-Effects of 3D
France is considering a ban on stereoscopic viewing equipment for children, due to, “the possible [negative] effect of 3D viewing on the developing visual system.” What’s so interesting about this for me is that we are already surrounded by immersive and complexly 3D spatial environments, often complicated by radically diverse and confusing focal lengths. We just call it architecture.
