Registration bug blocked 60,000 Canadians from opting into organ donation
According to a letter sent to affected province citizens by ServiceOntario, the error went unnoticed for nearly 18 months, and it centered around wrongly recorded “exclusions,” meaning organs that someone would rather not allow to be harvested after death.
